“Fantastico”

Posizione da urlo, a due passi (e non è un modo di dire) dal Duomo. Camera ampia e luminosissima. Personale gentile, disponibile e discreto. Rapporto qualità prezzo ineguagliabile. Se si vuol proprio trovare un neo, va detto che non è servita la colazione, ma vi è in camera un tavolino ove vi sono vari infusi, cioccolatini, crackers e qualche merendina confezionata ed, inoltre viene consegnato un buono sconto per consumarla in un bar convenzionato poco distante. Ma con una posizione, una camera ed un personale così impeccabili... al diavolo la colazione.

Mandy and her staff were so very helpful. The beds were very comfortable (and large) for Europe - Actually the most comfortable we've slept in since beginning our European travels nearly a year ago. The location is excellent - a short walk from the train station and right next to the Duomo. It is an easy walk to most of the sites, and in the heart of the beautiful city. Even so, when the windows were closed, we could not hear any of the noise from outside. We would certainly stay here again - and most likely will soon.

“Great total experience, splendid hosts”

Perfect location in central Florence, about 50 metres Duomo. Hosts went to great lengths to explain attractions and be generally helpful. Rooms have nice decore and ambiance. Good value and good times,10 min walk from train station.

“Great place in central location”

The owners (Mandy & Guilio) are super sweet & helpful. They speak English well. Rooms have high ceilings --- giving them a really big feel. And best of all: Location. You can walk to everything in Florence. The Duomo is literally within 5 min. walk: Duomo Piazza is half a block away. Walk to Ufizzi or Academia (where Michelangelo's David is housed) also only about 10 min. We even took a side trip to Pisa one day & walked easily (10-15 min) to Santa Maria Nouvella Station to catch the train to Pisa. Children are very welcomed too.

“Excellent stay”

We stayed for two nights before Easter, and we loved the location of this place. We received a warm welcome from Giulio, who was friendly and very helpful. Our room was spotless, with a comfortable bed, and I loved the powerful, hot shower in the mornings. We had a small issue with the breakfast restaurant, which I told Giulio about, and he immediately tried to reimburse me for the cost of breakfast and told me he would speak to the owner about our issue. On our last morning, we met Mandy, who could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Just a lovely B&B. The location was amazing - just around the corner from the Baptistry and the Duomo, and an easy walk to the Ponte Vecchio and everywhere else. Just one word of warning - if you are a light sleeper and there is a special occasion for which the Duomo bells are rung, you will not sleep through the sound of those bells. It was a perfectly lovely sound, though, and I was awakened to the knowledge that I was in the middle of a gorgeous city at Easter. Otherwise, there was no noise in our room, from the street level or otherwise. I have already recommended the place to several friends, and I am sure I will recommend it to many more people in the future.

Fabulous accomodation in the heart of Florence. Perfect for a family of 4. Our room was cool when it was stiffling outside. Thanks Mandy for all your tips & tourist info - we had a fabulous stay. Highly recommend.

My boyfriend and I had a great stay at B&B Bel Duomo. The location near the Duomo was absolutely perfect. We got great recommendations for places to eat and even a castle to visit in the countryside. Our room was very clean and quiet. One thing we didn't like is that our bathroom was through the lobby, not attached to our room. However, other than that, it was a fantastic stay. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Florence.

Very nice B&B in the city center, close to the Duomo. The owners were very nice and told a lot about what to do and where to eat. The room was good and clean although our bathroom was a little bit small, but it was not really a problem. We would definately come back when visiting Florence another time.

"Awesome little hotel"

This place was great. Centrally located, nice bilingual staff, and clean comfortable room. We travelled with our two young children, and the space was roomy enough for all four of us. The bathroom was completely renovated and beautiful. The beds were super comfortable after being a tourist all day. They let us store our luggage after we checked out, which was great as the train station baggage hold is chiuso. You get a special deal at a nearby cafe for Italian breakfast (brioche and cappuccino). Giulio also sent us to a yummy trattoria for authentic Tuscan food--best Florentine steak ever! Overall it was the perfect hideaway hotel in the middle of the center of Florence--literally 2-4 blocks from everything. Highly recommend! We will be staying there again for sure.

Review A step to the Duomo
Our stay was excellent!! We were given a renovated apartment, it was marvellous almost in the Duomo really a few steps away. Location perfect for attractions, shopping, restaurants and nightlife. At Xmas the atmosphere is fantastic. Owners really really helpful!! The only thing if older couple to consider the few steps there are in order to arrive to the reception if with luggages. We had no breakfast but had tea/coffee and merendine in the room apart from the subsidy given if having breakfast at a cafe opposite the Duomo. We really enjoyed ourselves an had a good time. Much recommended.

Il B&B è situato in pieno centro storico di firenze a 5 metri dal duomo,le camere sono pulite, con aria condizionata. il personale gentilissimo, sia Amanda che Giulio ci hanno fornito consigli su locali e ristoranti.all'arrivo ti vengono consegnate le chiavi e da lì in poi sei completamente autonomo.il B&B si trova al 2 piano senza ascensore ma assolutamente non è un problema!ottimo per godersi firenze.l'unico neo è che se si arriva in macchina, essendo in area pedonale,bisogna faro 50 metri a piedi con i bagagli.

Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal. Super Lage zwischen dem "mercato San Lorenzo" und dem "Duomo".Preis Leistung sehr gut. Frühstück in einem schönen Kaffee am "Piazza del Duomo". Waren nicht das erste mal in Florenz aber das erste mal in diesem B+B und würden immer wieder in dieses gehen.

Hemos estado dos noches en Junio. La ubicación no puede ser mejor, al lado de la plaza del Duomo. Mandy nos recibió con gran cordialidad, nos enseño la habitación antes de nada, que era muy amplia y limpia, con una gran cama muy cómoda. Cuando volvamos a Florencia, seguro que nos volvemos a alojar allí!!!

"This place was amazing!!! Its a small bed and breakfast but you realllllllly get your moneys worth!!! The owner gulio, I thing was his name was very helpful, we were in florence for 2 days and he called the uffzi and david museum to make us a reservation as soon as we got there, and he recommended us the best places to eat! He was awesome "
