B&B Bed Duomo se encuentra en Borgo S. Lorenzo, calle peatonal que conecta la Piazza del Duomo con el mercado de S. Lorenzo, una de las calles principales y más famosos del centro de la ciudad, a poca distancia de las maravillas arquitectónicas de la Basílica de Santa María del Fiore.
Desde aquí se puede llegar a pie a los tesoros de arte más importantes de la ciudad, el Ponte Vecchio, la Galería de los Uffizi, el Palazzo Vecchio... todos a sus pies! .

¿Cómo llegar?

BY CAR

Since we are situated right in the centre of Florence, in a pedestrians only area, the best car park to use is the Garage S. Antonino, in Via S. Antonino 13/r, which guarantees a space for our guests at all times.
The garage has a large capacity, and booking is necessary only on very busy public holidays such as Easter and New Year.
The garage is situated a few minutes walk from our B&B, in the limited traffic zone, but as you will see when you pass the telecameras, there is free access to garages and hotels, so don’t worry about getting a fine, the garage staff will annul the photo!
The best way to reach the garage is by following directions to the railway station from Viale Spartaco Lavagnini (part of the main ring road around Florence) – this takes you into Via Santa Caterina d’Alessandria, then into Via Nazionale.
At the traffic lights at the end of the road, bear left at the roundabout passing, via the slip road with the Telecamera, into Piazza dell Unita Italiana, Via S. Antonino is next to the Hotel Majestic which you will see opposite you when you enter the Piazza.
The garage is right there at the beginning of the road on the left hand side.

BY TRAIN

From Santa Maria Novella train station:
Florence central station (Santa Maria Novella) is a 10 minute walk away and since our B&B is in a pedestrians only area, it is probably best to get to us by foot unless you have a lot of heavy luggage. If you have lots of bags, you could get a taxi from the station and it will drop you off about 50 metres from our door.
Directions from SMN train station: When you reach the station concourse, look out for the chemist’s shop in the corner, next to the Macdonald’s restaurant, and go out of that exit.
Once outside the station, head for the Hotel Baglioni on your right, walk past the Baglioni and keep walking straight on Via Panzani, which then changes to Via Cerretani, until you reach the Piazza di San Giovanni, where you will see the Battistero straight ahead of you with the Duomo right behind it.
Once you reach the square, Borgo San Lorenzo is the first road on your left – no. 4 is about 10 metres up on your right hand side.

BY PLANE

From Florence airport:

Option nr. 1:
A taxi from the airport to the centre of town costs 20.00 € + 1 € for each piece of luggage.. The taxi will drop you about 50 metres from our B&B, ie. at the boundary of the pedestrians only area. – If the taxi leaves you at the chain across the road in Via Cerretani, head towards Piazza del Duomo (straight ahead of you, then take the first left into Borgo San Lorenzo, when you get to the Piazza, no. 4 is about 10 metres up on your right hand side. If the taxi leaves you at the corner of Via dei Gori/Via Ginori, just cross the piazza in front of the Basilica di San Lorenzo, and walk down Borgo San Lorenzo till you get to number 4 (about 50 metres away) on your left hand side.

Option nr. 2:
There is a shuttle bus running 3 or 4 times an hour from the airport to the Santa Maria Novella train station in the centre of town, from which B&B Bel Duomo is a 10 minute walk. For directions from the station, please see above.
